Where I can sit when I come to an event?

The MCG seating is usually divided into three clear areas: public, MCC members and AFL members.

Most events have a seating configuration that allows for patrons to pre-purchase reserved seats in the public areas to guarantee entry to the event. Any unsold seats are then available on the day of the event at the gate until sold out.

Tickets sold at the venue on event days from the public gates are sold as general admission tickets on a "first-in, best-dressed" basis.

On some occasions, such as the annual Anzac Day AFL match on April 25, all seats are pre-sold as reserved seats and are all allocated prior to the event. This website will provide updates on this situation for each event.

View the MCG seating plans for further details.
