The music communicaty unite for two very special benefit concerts

The devastation of the current Victorian bushfires has left few unaffected. In response to our nation’s greatest ever natural disaster, Australia’s music community have banded together for two stadium benefit concerts scheduled to run simultaneously in both Melbourne and Sydney on Saturday March 14, 2009 under the unified banner of Sound Relief.

The Melbourne Cricket Club and Melbourne Cricket Ground Trust have today announced a donation of $150,000 to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

Cricket Victoria and the MCC have agreed to key terms that will see all international cricket scheduled in Victoria played at the MCG until March 2019 along with the majority of domestic cricket matches.

The MCC and Ticketek Pty Ltd today announced that Ticketek has been awarded the Ticketing and Access Control services contract at the MCG, effective for five years from March 1, 2009.
Champions on the move to the MCG

Champions, the Australian Racing Museum and Hall of Fame, will move from its current location at Federation Square to become part of the highly acclaimed National Sports Museum at the MCG.
