MCG offers footy fans exciting new catering range

As we enter the 2009 AFL season, the MCG is excited to announce some great new additions to the catering range at the stadium.

Spudbar has taken the humble potato and turned it into a masterpiece.

Spudbar offers a tasty, healthy and value for money food offer at the MCG. There are six fantastic flavour combinations to choose from, created specifically for the MCG, or you can make your own masterpiece.

Patrons are encouraged to come and visit us before the game where you can and you can build your own “Super-Spud”.  Located at Bay M14 (Level 1, Great Southern Stand) and M49 (Level 1 MCC Members Pavilion).

Domino's2go logoDomino’s2Go
Last year saw the introduction of the Domino’s2Go personal pizza at the MCG. Based on the success of this introduction, we are opening an additional Domino’s2Go store, and making the freshly made Domino’s2Go personal pizza available in two of our popular bars at the ground.

Domino’s2Go personal pizzas are now available at six convenient locations: Ponsford Stand (M33 and M30), Great Southern Stand (M9), Olympic Stand (M51) and Members Pavilion (M41 and M44).                                                          

Red Rooster logoRed Rooster
The introduction of Red Rooster to Level 4 of the Great Southern Stand provides access to the premier Australian chicken product for patrons seated within this section of the ground.

Conveniently located at the cross-over gates between the AFL members and the Level 4 public seating this store is the sixh to be opened at the ground. Now even more patrons to the MCG can enjoy those famous chips.

Patties Gluten-Free Pies
The MCG is the first venue in Australia to range a gluten-free pie. In partnership with Patties, the gluten-free pie will be available at approximately 14 Snack outlets in the stadium.

The gluten-free pie is a welcome introduction to those on Coeliac diets and with specific gluten intolerance. The pies are available to purchase from outlets near the following seating bays: M6, M20, M31, M41 M56, N36 N55, Q11, Q19, Q32, Q42 and Q55.

On the back of a successful introduction during 2008, the availability of our Fresh Food2Go range has now been expanded to over 20 snack outlets at the MCG.

The FreshFood2Go brand has become the benchmark of fresh, convenient and affordable ‘healthier’ food options.  Products are either made fresh daily on site at the MCG or from our carefully selected local suppliers.

The brand offers a variety of products including sandwiches, wraps and rolls, a range of sushi, salads, fruit and yoghurt. Gluten free options are also available.

The same delicious kebabs are available as a component of the food2go product range in outlets within the Ponsford, Members and Olympic stands. Origin Kebabs bring another component of the “essential Melbourne street food experience” directly to the MCG.
