About Melbourne City Mission

Melbourne City Mission is Melbourne’s first charity. Established in 1854, it has been around for almost as long as the MCG, and Melbourne itself.

With a vision of "a fair and just community where people have equal access to opportunities and resources", Melbourne City Mission helps people and communities to develop pathways away from disadvantage.

Melbourne City Mission works with some of Melbourne and Victoria’s most vulnerable individuals, families and communities, helping them escape and avoid disadvantage, economic exclusion and social isolation.
