The Food Store
Providing a range of high quality fan favourites, the MCG Food Store is the go-to for traditional footy food and drinks at the ‘G.With stores spread conveniently throughout the stadium, the Food Store is the ideal spot to grab a Four’N Twenty meat pie, McCain SureCrisp Chips or a DON hotdog during half time. For the more health conscious, there is also a range of healthy and nutritious options including salads, sandwiches and more.
Reminiscent of a traditional general store, the Food Store’s timeless and modern decor provides a relaxed casual atmosphere. In conjunction with the classic favourites, the Food Store also offers premium burgers that are hand made on site.
The Fish Shop
The Fish Shop offers a modern twist on old favourites. Located throughout the MCG, the Fish Shop serves tasty alternatives to your traditional pie at the footy. A variety of options include traditional fish in batter, as well as salt & pepper calamari and the famous South Melbourne Market Dim Sims.With an English style seaside fish and chip shop decor the Fish Shop has an exciting yet familiar atmosphere.
Industry Beans
Direct from their Melbourne roastery alongside their flagship café in Fitzroy, Industry Beans coffee is delivered fresh and direct to the MCG, with the Fitzroy Street Blend distributed and then served across the 35 locations inside the venue on match days, and at Trumble Bar and Café and Paddock Café on non-match days.Industry Beans provides an elevated experience that aligns two of Melbourne’s greatest loves – sport and coffee.
Snag Bar
The Snag Bar offers more than just a humble sausage, offering premium hand crafted snags, crusty rolls and premium condiments - an iconic product for the People’s Ground.The Snag Bar is located on Level 4 of the Ponsford Stand.
Royal Stacks
Founder, Dani Zeini has transformed Melbourne’s burger culture which all began with a secret burger menu at Dandenong Pavilion, followed by the opening of Grand Trailer Park Taverna and Truck Stop Deluxe. In 2016, Royal Stacks was born. The burger empire presents a unique take on classic fast-food Australians have enjoyed for years.Royal Stacks currently has six restaurants across Melbourne including Collins Street, Chadstone, Brunswick, Moorabbin, Melbourne Emporium and now at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The burgers are freshly minced daily from pasture fed, 100% Australian, GMO-free beef, and the menu offers vegetarian and Halal options, including a new vegan burger option ‘The Queen Bee’ now available on game days.
Big Chicken
Big Chicken is one of the newest arrivals at the MCG, and serves specialty chicken items in outlets right across the stadium.MCG Pie Shop Cart
Serving a selection of handmade gourmet pies and pastries, the MCG Pie Shop Cart offers a premium spin on the infamous pie at the footy. Encased in a thick but crumbly pastry, you can choose from sumptuous pie filling combinations such as beef and Guinness, lamb and rosemary, chicken and leek, and spinach and cauliflower.Located by Gate 2 in the MCC members reserve, choose your favourite before they are all gone.
Donut Cart
Traditional hot donuts are now available at the Donut Cart in the MCG. Served warm and dipped in sugar, they are sure to warm you up during the cold Melbourne winter. These sweet treat can be enjoyed by adults and children of all ages they are always a popular choice at half time. They can be found in two locations throughout the stadium.MCG Soup Station – Seasonal
The MCG is now serving hot soup at The Soup Cart during the cold Melbourne winter months. The cart provides a nutritious easy meal option that everyone can enjoy. Warm up on cold winter nights with hot thick soup prepared fresh by MCG chefs.Traditional favourites are conveniently served in round take away cups with a delicious crusty roll. Flavours include Thai pumpkin & roasted ginger, roma tomato & white bean, spiced potato & leak and roasted cauliflower soup.
MCG Curry Cart – Seasonal
Adding a bit of international spice, the MCG now serves Indian favourites at its Curry Cart. Options include entree style Punjabi Vegetable Samosas, Potato and spinach Pakora served with chutney and yoghurt or crispy Papadums. Or more in the way of main meals, the Curry Cart serves Kadhi Chicken curry & Babuli Handi Vegetable Curry with Zera Palou rice.Traditional Indian meals are served in convenient takeaway containers that can be taken back to the stand. This seasonal option provides patrons with a healthy meal and international alternative to traditional footy favourites.
AFL Members' Reserve - Barassi Cafe
Barassi Café, named after the iconic Ron Barassi, offers an informal dining area for AFL members in the Shane Warne Stand, with bright and modern décor replicating the feel of a Melbourne laneway café.Having previously been home to a range of wraps, sandwiches and gourmet pies, the Barassi Café has introduced the signature artisanal wood fired pizzas of Melbourne based SPQR pizza franchise into this space as well.
SPQR pizza offers Naples style sourdough pizza with four delicious flavour choices.
