MCG Open Day returns on Sunday October 1 and we can’t wait to open the gates to the people’s ground for a day full of family fun!For just one day, the MCG will open its doors and allow access to areas of the stadium that are normally off limits to the public, including the hallowed turf.
Please note: Open Day registered attendees will not need to bring a physical entry ticket with them on the day - access is free and via Gate 2.
OPERATING TIMESOpen Day will run from 11am-4pm, with last entry to the stadium at 3.30pm.
Car park closedDue to the huge crowds expected at Richmond Football Club's post-grand final event at Punt Road Oval on Sunday, there will be no car parking in Yarra Park for people attending MCG Open Day. We apologise for the inconvenience.

-Kids can participate in free cricket clinics courtesy of the Melbourne Stars.
-Create your own Grand Final celebration and have your photo taken with the 2017 replica AFL premiership cup (at the reduced cost of $5 per photo if you pre-registered).
