To ensure you are inside the MCG in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.If you have purchased tickets for others, remember to forward tickets to the individuals attending within your group for easy entry.

- Smoking, including vaping, is not permitted inside the MCG. Patrons found smoking or vaping inside the MCG will face immediate eviction.
- Prams and strollers are only permitted in the stadium if they fit under your seat. Prams and strollers can also be cloaked at Gate 3B.

The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges and in 2022, the G-Train will also feature vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:

Public Transport - A message from Metro Trains
If you’re using public transport to return home from the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Final, avoid delays by topping up your myki before you reach the barriers and have it ready as you exit the train.Please be aware that after the game there will be increased congestion and delays getting onto the platforms at Richmond and Jolimont stations.
There will be extra public transport services to get you home after the game. For more information regarding extra services please visit ptv.vic.gov.au/cricket.
Richmond station access:
- Cranbourne/Pakenham, Frankston and Sandringham line passengers are advised to use Olympic Boulevard via Gate 7 footbridge.
- Lilydale, Belgrave, Alamein and Glen Waverley line passengers are advised to use Brunton Avenue via Yarra Park.
- Passengers for Flinders Street services can use either route.
Passengers travelling from Southern Cross station to the MCG:
- Quickest way is via Jolimont station – change to platform 9 to travel through the City Loop.
- Via Richmond station – change to platform 13 to travel via Flinders Street station.
Passengers travelling from Flinders Street station to the MCG:
- Change to platforms 2, 3 or 13 to travel through to Richmond station.
Passengers leaving the MCG returning to Southern Cross station:
- Avoid the queues and save time – catch a train from platform 1 at Jolimont station which will go via Flinders Street station to Southern Cross station.

MCG MULTI-FAITH PRAYER ROOM
The MCG Multi-Faith Prayer Rooms are open to all patrons.For the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup tournament, the MCG is operating two Multi-Faith Prayer Room spaces for patrons across the stadium. The permanent room is located on Level B1 of the Shane Warne Stand (behind approximately M13 and M14) and temporary facility is located on the same level behind sections M20 and M21.
The permanent facility is able to cater for more than 50 patrons at one time, and is suitable for patrons of all faiths including Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Hindu.
Replacing a previous smaller space in the Ponsford Stand, the new permanent Multi-Faith Prayer Room is accessible for all patrons from across the stadium, regardless of where they are seated.
