August 5, 2021 UpdateThe Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC), as ground managers of the MCG, can confirm that MCG Tours will be closed, in light of the Victorian State Government’s announcement to introduce a circuit breaker lockdown for Greater Melbourne/the state of Victoria, commencing 11.59pm tonight – Thursday July 15.
The MCC will continue to monitor the health and safety advice provided by the Victorian Government when the lockdown is lifted and restrictions are eased on tour groups.
The closure of the Tours also extends to Paddock Café and the MCG Shop, inside Gate 3 of the MCG.
The Club will communicate with its members and all visitors to the MCG when the MCG Tours will re-open.
