Step into Greatness at the 'G for the 2021 AFL Premiership Season.The Melbourne Cricket Club, as ground managers of the MCG, is committed to ensuring the 2021 AFL Premiership Season operates in line with relevant Victorian Government COVID-19 guidelines so all patrons can experience the MCG in a safe way.
The MCG will operate under the MCC’s Victorian Government endorsed COVIDSafe Event Plan, which includes dividing the MCG into five zones, cashless payments and capacity limits in food and beverage facilities. Face masks must be worn by patrons at all times, except when seated in their allocated seat.

The G-Train Mobility Shuttle ServiceThe G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges and in 2021, the G-Train will also feature vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area
