MCG shuttle service returns for 2019

Tuesday, March 19, 2019

We're delighted to again partner with Travellers Aid Australia and pleased to announce that the Buggy Transfer Service is now a permanent fixture at events taking place at the MCG.

This service is free for anyone with mobility challenges. The service was successful last year, transporting more than 11,000 fans during the AFL season.

In 2019 the service will be extended to three pick up points from the following locations:
•    Richmond Station
•    Jolimont Station
•    William Barak Bridge

Drop off points are between gates 2 and 4. You don’t have to pre-book, simply go to one of the designated pick up points and wait for the next available buggy.

The buggy transfer service will operate from two hours prior to first bounce and will run for 30 minutes post-match.

The MCG would like to acknowledge the AFL Fans' Association for their help in initiating the service.
