Tickets for the 2021-22 international cricket schedule are on sale now, with the Men’s Ashes Series headlining the international agenda.
General public tickets are available now via Ticketek for all MCG international matches, including the Boxing Day Test between Australia and England, and a T20 International match between Australia and Sri Lanka at the MCG.
For the first time since the summer of 1994-95 the MCG will host the third Test of the series – seeing the opportunity to deliver the coveted Ashes urn to either Australia or England at the MCG.
The last time the two countries met in a Boxing Day Test, in December 2017, the match finished in a draw with former English captain, Alastair Cook receiving Player of the Match.
The MCG will also host a T20 International match between Australia and 2014 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup champions Sri Lanka in February 2022.
Tickets for both MCG matches will be sold to 85 per cent of the venue's capacity until further easing of the Victorian State Government restrictions is applied.
Ticket arrangements for MCC members are yet to be finalised, and will be communicated directly to members in due course.
