Promoter, its associated agencies & companies, including the MCC (its employees, contractors and agents), exclude all liability (incl negligence) except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, for any direct or indirect injury, loss &/or damage arising in any way out of offer. Nothing in these conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

For the avoidance of doubt, while all, or part of the offer and/or Gift may be associated with the MCC and/or the Melbourne Cricket Ground, you acknowledge and agree that this competition and any Gift is not a promotion/offer of the MCC and the MCC is not responsible for such promotion/offer/Gift.  

Access to the American Express Entrance at the MCG is available exclusively to Card Members. To access this entrance, Card Members must also have a valid event ticket for entry at Gates 3, 4 or 5 (or as otherwise determined by MCG) to the MCG. Please note an American Express Card alone does not gain any person access.

• Valid Card Requirement: Card Members must present a valid, physical or digital American Express Card upon entry (Eligible Card). The name on the Eligible Card must match the name on the event ticket, where applicable. Entry may be refused if an Eligible Card is not presented. Eligible Cards exclude cards issued outside Australia, unless otherwise determined by American Express. In the event an Eligible Card is not presented, ticket holders must use the otherwise designated gate on their event ticket for entry.
• Ticket Requirement: Entry via the American Express® Entrance is only available to individuals holding a valid ticket to Gates 3, 4 or 5 for the relevant event at the MCG. 

The Card Member may be accompanied by up to four (4) guests per entry. All guests must hold valid tickets to the event. The Card Member must be present at the time of entry. Guests will not be permitted to enter the American Express Entrance without the Card Member. 

Access via the American Express Entrance does not provide preferential seating, upgrades, or any additional event benefits unless otherwise specified. 

The American Express Entrance will operate only for selected events and dates as determined by the Melbourne Cricket Club and American Express, and may not be  available for all events at the MCG. 

Access to the MCG via the American Express Entrance is subject to capacity, event  scheduling and operational requirements. Entry via the American Express Entrance is not guaranteed and may be suspended or withdrawn at any time including at short notice.

Each of Melbourne Cricket Club and American Express Australia Limited reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to the American Express Entrance at any time without prior notice.

The American Express entrance does not include:

• entry or access to the Melbourne Cricket Ground on a non-event day;
• entry or access for ticketholders with Ponsford Stand, AFL Members Reserve and MCC Members Reserve seating; or
• without limiting the dot point above, entry or access for ticketholders requiring access to Gates 1, 2, 6 or 7. 

American Express Australia Limited (or the applicable American Express issuing entity) is not responsible for the event, its organisation, or the venue operations. 

American Express promotes a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment for all Card Members and their guests at any American Express venue or experience. American Express has a zero tolerance policy in relation to inappropriate behaviour at any American Express venues or sponsored events (Locations). This includes, but is not limited to, any level of abusive, aggressive or offensive behaviour toward any American Express/partner/event staff, any Card Members and their guests, or any other guests present within the American Express venue or experience. American Express also promotes responsible consumption of alcohol at its Locations. Should you or any of your guests exhibit (what we deem to be) inappropriate behaviour at any American Express Location, American Express reserves the right to remove the Card Member and/or  guest(s) from the venue or experience and prohibit future attendance. American Express also reserves the right to cancel the Card Members’ American Express Card(s) immediately.   

Attendance at the event is at the Card Member’s own risk.

American Express and its related bodies corporate (including its respective directors, officers, employees and agents) will not be liable to you or your guests for any loss, damage, injury or death (including, without limitation, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential loss or loss of profits), which is suffered or sustained in connection with the American Express card member gate, except to the extent that such loss, damage, injury or death was caused or contributed to by American Express or where any such liability cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
