Summer at the ‘G returns to the Trumble Bar & Café

The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) is thrilled to bring back Summer at the ‘G, returning to the Trumble Bar & Café for three Fridays across the 2025/26 summer.

Located between Gates 1 and 2 at the MCG, the Trumble Bar & Café is the perfect spot to soak up the summer vibes, whether you’re watching live sport on the big screen, tackling The Weekly Fifty quiz with friends, or enjoying the tunes from our MCC DJ.

What better way to bring in the sunny season than feasting on a classic Aussie BBQ, sipping on the Spritz of the Day and hanging out with your mates!

For all events this summer, MCC members will receive a complimentary spritz when you show your member card on arrival!

12:00pm – 9:00pm

Kick off the Summer of Cricket in style as we broadcast Day 1 of the Perth Test live on the big screen. Enjoy every delivery from the opening session at 1:20pm AEDT.

Friday December 5, 2025

5:00pm – 10:00pm

Test your knowledge with The Weekly Fifty quiz covering all things sport, pop culture and current affairs (with a little Christmas twist) kicking off at 6:30pm, accompanied by our MCC DJ spinning your favourite hits. Perfect for a summer night!

Friday January 30, 2026

5:00pm – 10:00pm

Join us for a huge night of sport as we broadcast the Australian Open Men’s Semi Final live on the big screen. Between the sets, join in The Weekly Fifty quiz from 6:30pm.

• Location: Trumble Bar & Café, accessible via external concourse between Gates 1 and 2
• Cost: Free of charge
• Dress code: Members’ Reserve dress standards apply
• Access: This series is open to MCC members of all categories and the general public. All ages are welcome.
• Booking process: Bookings are essential and open at 9:00am AEDT on Wednesday October 22.
