How to connect
Digital system
A digital system uses the MCG Free Wifi and the play button at the bottom of this webpage to relay announcements into the user’s headphones.
Please note: This service only works when connected to the MCG Free Wifi.
- Connect to the MCG Free WiFI
- Play the hearing loop by clicking the play button
Auracast
Auracast, an assistive Bluetooth listening technology, is installed in key function rooms at the MCG and allows visitors to connect directly to the room’s audio broadcast. This could include the public address (PA) system, TV commentary, music or other input as selected by the host on the day.
Please contact your host on the day for more information on these hearing technologies, to learn more about what’s available or to borrow connecting equipment.
