Australia’s Premier running event, the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival returns, on the weekend of Saturday October 10 and Sunday October 11.
Five distances, from 42.195k to 3k, start on Batman Avenue and finish with a lap of honour around the MCG!
Race Week Office Opening Times
The Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival will have three separate Race Week Offices, based on your event distance. Please ensure you visit the Race Week Office allocated to your event.
The offices will be operating on the MCG external concourse, between Gates 2 and 3, for event downgrades, replacement bib collection and general enquiries.
Spectator Entry
Spectators and participants might find it difficult to meet within the MCG, instead we recommend locating a meeting spot within Yarra Park for ease.
Bikes and pets are not permitted inside the MCG (Guide Dogs excepted). Prams and pushers are permitted within spectator areas in the Olympic Stand and Members’ Reserve, with easy-to-fold pushers recommended.
Merch & Expos
Merchandise: The main merchandise store will be located on the MCG concourse between Gates 2 and 3, with the full merchandise range available across race weekend (Wednesday to Sunday).
Runner’s Expo and Partner Expo: Make the most of Race Week and visit the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival Runner’s Expo and Partner Expo at the MCG.
Parking
Limited parking in Yarra Park for the general public
$20 per car, EFTPOS only (cash not accepted)
Parking is expected to reach capacity quickly - public transport is recommended
Access via Gate 5 off Punt Road only (open from 4:30am on Saturday; open from 3:30am on Sunday)
Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit holders can pre-book parking via Ticketek
All parking is within grass paddocks in Yarra Park
