Looking at the MCG stands from Yarra Park

To prioritise patron safety due to the unstable state of the grassed paddocks and help improve the condition of the heritage-listed Yarra Park following recent wet weather, the Yarra Park car park will be closed for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season, with no drive-up parking available.

Strictly limited accessibility parking at the MCG will only be open to Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit holders who have pre-purchased parking passes via Ticketek. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The MCG is committed to prioritising the safety of all patrons while managing the parklands.
