Five MCG matches confirmed across AFL Rounds 23-24

The MCG will host five matches across Rounds 23 and 24 of the 2026 AFL Premiership Season, including a double-header on Saturday August 15, 2026.

On the Saturday, Richmond will take on St Kilda at 12:35pm, before a massive evening clash between Hawthorn and Collingwood at 7:40pm.

Collingwood then return to the MCG on Friday night in Round 24, taking on the reigning premiers the Brisbane Lions.

Round 24 will also see the return of Kids Go Free in Victoria, a collaboration with the Victorian Government, with fans attending Collingwood v Brisbane Lions and Melbourne v Western Bulldogs able to take advantage of this.
