Pink-Ball match headlines MCG Sheffield Shield schedule

The MCG will host three Sheffield Shield matches across the 2026/27 season, including a day-night match between Victoria and Tasmania in the lead-up to the 150th Anniversary Test.

The Pink-Ball match in February 2027 will be the first Shield day-night match at the MCG in more than a decade with the historic Test match between Australia and England played the following month.

In addition to this match, the MCG will also host two Shield matches between Victoria and Western Australia in November, and Victoria and Queensland in December.

General public tickets for the three international matches at the MCG for 2026/27 are available now via Ticketek, with Sheffield Shield arrangements to be confirmed closer to the matches.

10:30am, November 11-14

Round 6 - Victoria v Queensland

10:30am, December 3-6

Round 7 - Victoria v Tasmania
