International cricket schedule confirmed for 2026/27

Australia and England will meet twice at the MCG during an extended cricket season, with Cricket Australia on Sunday night confirming the 2026/27 international schedule will include three fixtures at the ‘G. 

On Saturday November 21, Australia’s men’s side will host long standing sporting rivals England to open the T20I series between the two teams.  

Australia will return for the NRMA Insurance Boxing Day Test against New Zealand from December 26, before the highly anticipated 150th Anniversary Test Match against England which begins on March 11, 2027.

Ticketing arrangements and on-sale information for the T20I fixture and Boxing Day Test will be communicated once confirmed. 

The public ballot for the 150th Anniversary Test Match is now closed.

2026/27 international cricket at the MCG:

Men’s T20I - Australia v England  
November 21, 2026 - 7.15pm 

NRMA Insurance Boxing Day Test - Australia v New Zealand 
December 26 – 30, 2026 - 10.30am 

150th Anniversary Test Match  - Australia v England
March 11 - 15, 2027 - 2.00pm (day-night Test)
