Accessibility

There are no lifts or escalators at Caulfield, Malvern, Richmond or Jolimont train stations. Flinders Street Station and Town Hall Station have lifts and escalators servicing all platforms.

You can change at Town Hall to Flinders Street using the DeGraves Street subway, which connects directly to platforms 1 to 10 at Flinders Street Station. Town Hall has step-free access and tactiles to help move around the station.

The Swanston Street and Jolimont tram stops are stair-free, but the Route 75 tram is not currently serviced by low-floor trams and is therefore not wheelchair accessible.

Please refer to the Yarra Trams website or transport.vic.gov.au for more information.

G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service

The MCG G-Train is available to shuttle persons with mobility needs, including wheelchair users, to and from the stadium.

The MCG G-Train services passengers at the following locations:

The G-Train service begins one hour before Members' Reserve gates open and ends one hour post-match.

MCG Parking

To protect the park, car parking in Yarra Park is regularly closed to the public. Yarra Park is heritage listed and a traditional meeting place for the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung. Car parking in Yarra Park is subject to change at short notice due to inclement weather and the condition of the park.

Patrons with an Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit will be able to pre-book parking for $20 via Ticketek. Please refer to information about access to the stadium from Yarra Park and the free G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service.

All parking in Yarra Park is within grassed paddocks. People arriving by car will need to cross the grass, and in some cases garden beds or sand, to connect with the asphalt pathways.
