Car Park Opening Schedule (Yarra Park)

Parking is subject to change at late notice due to inclement weather and the condition of Yarra Park. Please check regularly for updates.

There are currently no events to show.

Book Online

Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit holders can guarantee a parking spot in Yarra Park by pre-booking a parking space for $15 via Ticketek.

Please note, car park passes are limited per event. Only one car park pass can be purchased per transaction. Only one car park pass is required per car.

Entry and Gate Details

When booking your parking online, you will need to select and then enter Yarra Park via a specific gate/entry point.

  • If you’re entering the stadium at MCG Gates 1, 2 or 3, it is recommended that you book parking via Yarra Park Gate 3 (where available).
  • If you’re entering the stadium at MCG Gates 4, 5, 6 or 7, it is recommended that you book your parking via Yarra Park Gates 4, 5, 6 or 7 (where available).

At the Carpark

  • Once patrons have purchased their car park pass, they will receive a Ticketek Mobile ticket.
  • Upon entry to the Yarra Park gate specified on the ticket, patrons must show car park staff a valid disability permit and the mobile ticket.
  • All accessible patrons are parked on a first in, best dressed basis.

Access to the Stadium

All parking in Yarra Park is within grassed paddocks and people arriving by car will need to cross the grass, and in some cases garden beds or sand, to connect with the asphalt pathways.

While our staff make every effort to park cars as close as possible to the MCG, you may be parked up to 300m away from the concourse.

If you require assistance to get from the car park to the MCG gates, a mobility shuttle is available free of charge. Please advise staff on arrival if you require the G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service.

Drop Off/Pick Up Locations

Patrons with accessibility needs can arrange to be dropped off by taxi (or a private vehicle with an Australian Disability Parking permit) at the bus turning circle (corner of Jolimont St and Jolimont Tce).

Please note: Vehicles without an Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit, including pre-booked Ubers, will not be permitted to enter the bus turning circle.

All other patrons and vehicles without an Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit are advised to use Clarendon St (near the Pullman Hotel) for their taxi, ride share or private vehicle drop off and pick up.
