Yarra Park car park closed for Rounds 19 and 20
To preserve the condition of the heritage-listed Yarra Park following recent wet weather, parking for matches during Rounds 19 and 20 at the MCG is only available for ADP permit holders who have already pre-purchased a Ticketek parking pass.
The MCG is committed to prioritising the safety of all patrons while managing the parklands.

AFL matches affected during Rounds 19 and 20 are:
- Collingwood v Carlton - Saturday July 18
- Richmond v Hawthorn - Sunday July 19
- Melbourne v Geelong Cats - Friday July 24
- Hawthorn v Essendon - Saturday July 25
Parking availability for future matches beyond Round 20 will be communicated on this page, as well as on the MCG parking page.
Alternative Parking Options
Patrons requiring parking are encouraged to pre-plan alternative parking or travel arrangements, with a list of nearby parking locations listed below:
- Melbourne and Olympic Parks Eastern Plaza Car Park
- 11 Exhibition Street
- Flinders Gate Car Park, 172-192 Flinders Street
- Collins Place Car Park, 28 Flinders Lane
- Federation Square
- 34-60 Little Collins Street
- 114-128 Flinders Street
- Metered on-street parking is available around the Fitzroy Gardens, the Botanical Gardens and along the Yarra River
Patrons who have already purchased a pre-booked accessibility car park for Round 19 via Ticketek will receive communications directly via Ticketek regarding alternative arrangements. This pre-purchased allocation is now exhausted.
Drop-off/ Pick-up location
Patrons who have a valid mobility parking permit and wish to be dropped off close to the MCG are advised to utilise the bus turning circle at the corner of Jolimont Street and Jolimont Terrace (nearest to Gate 2).
Patrons with mobility challenges can access the G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service which will operate between this location and your MCG Gate before and after the match. The G-Train also stops at Richmond Station and Jolimont Station.
