BCNA Field of Women returns to the ‘G

Friday, June 16, 2023

For the first time in five years, Breast Cancer Network Australia’s (BCNA) Field of Women will return to the MCG, prior to the Round 23 AFL Pink Lady match between Melbourne and Hawthorn on Sunday August 20.

The powerful sight will see over 10,000 people walk onto the hallowed MCG turf to form the shape of BCNA’s Pink Lady, paying tribute to those diagnosed and raising awareness of the impact of breast cancer.

Tickets are now available to be purchased for the Field of Women for general public and MCC, AFL and Club members. All proceeds from ticket sales go to BCNA to ensure all Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.

General public

Members of the general public can purchase a ticket for the Field of Women, which includes access to the MCG for the event, participation in the Field of Women event ceremony, an event gift pack and a General Admission seat for the Pink Lady Match between Melbourne and Hawthorn that will follow Field of Women.

Children under the age of four are free when booked with an adult ticket. Please note, all children must have a ticket to gain entry into the MCG.

Public tickets for this event will be delivered via mobile or email.

Members (MCC, AFL, Melbourne and Hawthorn)

MCC, AFL and Melbourne and Hawthorn Club members with access entitlements to the Melbourne v Hawthorn match should purchase a ‘non entry Field of Women upgrade’ ticket for themselves and their visitors.

This member upgrade ticket will entitle collection of the event day gift pack and a place on the MCG for the Field of Women event, but cannot be used to scan into the venue. To access the MCG, members must redeem a seat for the AFL match using their membership entitlements, or scan their membership card for General Admission access on the day.

Members must also collect their member upgrade ticket for the Field of Women on the event day, with the exact location to be communicated to participants closer to the event.
